Advice for singing. As a Christian, singing must be part of your prayers. Singing is the largest mountain. Singing is mounted power. Without singing, your prayers cannot succeed. So, singing is very, very, very good and also singing attracts some people to you. Thanks.

My name is Brad Robbins, one of the singers with Gentry, the Gentleman Trio. I've been singing with Gentry for about seven years, but my love of music really goes back to when I was about a teenager, which is where I got my start performing in musical theater in junior high and high school, and from there the rest is history. My advice to any young singer who is just starting out, who wants to pursue a career in performance, is start somewhere, do something. Obviously, you need to practice, you need to train, you need to have a passion and love for it to continue to motivate you through the ups and the downs, but start somewhere. Don't be so overwhelmed or concerned about how to get to the end goal. It's a series of steps. It's a progression, day by day, inch by inch, so just start somewhere, do something, and over time, if you can do that consistently, you'll look back and realize, wow, I've come a long way.

Hi, I'm Nathan Osmond. I'm a singer-songwriter, and I've been singing my whole life. Grew up on the set of the Donny and Marie show. They're my uncle and aunt, but I've written a lot of songs. I've actually written a number one hit song called Stars and Stripes, and just love singing. And the thing is, is that if you're going to be a singer, you've got to have passion for it. Go into any business with your eyes open, my father always said. Now, he sold over 100 million records. If you've ever heard of the Osmonds, go check them out. But I just love performing and singing, and he always said, whatever you do, be the best at it. But go into any business with your eyes open, surrounding yourself with people that have actually been in the business. So I congratulate you on being here on Lifey and checking this out. Don't just sing from your diaphragm, sing from the heart, and that's where you help move and change people's lives. You have the ability to change lives with this little gift right here called your voice. Let it be heard.
