Hardest experiences. Well, there's lots of those in this business. Just know you got to have thick skin in this business and know that not everybody's going to like you. I auditioned for one of these talent shows that you'd recognize on the television and you'd all recognize this show, but I was told by the person who was doing the audition that I had discrepancies in my vocals and thanks but no thanks. And I was a little bit out of shape because I knew I nailed that audition. The thing is, I found out later that day that there were two other professional friends of mine that were singers that got on there. They have a perfect pitch and they were told they were pitchy. So you got to realize at the end of the day, it's a TV show. It's casting. Don't take it personally. And like my uncle Donnie always told me, you got to have thick skin in this game because not everybody's going to like you and you have to be okay with that, which is one of the hardest things as a singer because our job is to make everybody happy, make everybody like us, right? You go crazy trying to do that. Just be you. If they don't like you, next, and you'll be just fine.
