Common misconceptions about singing is that, oh, you can't make any money doing that, or just keep it a hobby. It's, you know, yeah, it's a pipe dream to make it. And there's some truth to that, a little bit. But my father, Alan Osmond, who wrote gold records like crazy in the 70s, said, you know what, we wrote gold records, number one hits because nobody told us we couldn't. So if it's something that you have passion for, you can make it. Going to any business with your eyes open, knowing what it's going to take, and just know that it's not easy. It may look easy, it's fun, it's definitely fun, but there are a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that go into getting ready and rehearsing. And just know that if you want to make it, you've got to be real good, and you've got to have some thick skin in this business.
