I was actually recently in Colombia and I have to say there's just so many foods to kind of decide pick pinpoint one thing so but if you're in Medellín of course you have to have the bandeja paisa it's traditional there and it's a lot of food but it's really good but then if you're in the capital like Bogotá you would want to have either an ajiaco which is a soup or you can have something that's called gallina which is delicious and it's very traditional to Bogotá and it's more of la comida criolla that like they would say another thing you could have are empanadas literally empanadas are delicious you can have all types of flavors and then don't forget to have all the delicious fruits that they have they have so many different types of fruits and also if you're at a you have to have all of the delicious bread that they have so literally there you cannot go wrong with any of the Colombian food

Favorite foods from Medellín. There's a plate called bandeja paisa which is like this plate which has hundreds of different foods on it pretty much. It kills hunger. There's another one called patacones which are fried plantain and they're really good and you can get them mostly in the coast but they have them all over Colombia and they're super good. Also one random tradition in Colombia is hot chocolate. They drink hot chocolate year-round pretty much for dinner every night and you can expect big lunches and small dinners but the food is fantastic. Also there's fried coconut rice in the coast which is really good and there's a food called suero coseno which is like this milk sauce. It's way good on pretty much anything.

My favorite food that I had there was probably just the typical plates that they had. The rice is amazing. It's not like American rice. It's so good. The beans are incredible, the meat, the chicken, the soups. They're all just incredible. I feel like Colombians have perfected these recipes and these ingredients to make them just absolutely delicious. So I would have to say, yeah, just the typical, you know, rice and beans and meat. Yeah, there's just a lot of great fruits and a lot of natural fruit juices. The breads there are incredible. The desserts, they're all just great.

My favorite food was rice and beans. Not because it was good, but because I ate it every day for two years, and I didn't have any other choice. So that was definitely my favorite food.

I would say my favorite foods from Colombia are probably ajiaco, which is like a type of soup that has like different potatoes and meat in it. And other foods that I like as well are probably empanadas and arepas. I think that arepas and empanadas from Colombia are the best. And I also really like obleas which have arequipe, which is like a type of dessert and it's not too sweet and I think it's pretty good.
