Interesting facts about Colombia are the vast amount of artists that have come from this country. Number one being the most popular is Shakira, but a lot of people know that she is from Colombia and probably one of the most famous. But on top of that, there are artists from reggaeton like J Balvin, Maluma, Karol G, Fade, who have become very popular not just in Latin America but also here in the United States and in the world. Other artists that have come from there are Carlos Vives, Sebastian Yatra, who did songs in the Encanto soundtrack, but that is just obviously one of the many of their hits and music. Columbia is one of the most vibrant, life-filled places on the planet. I was really astounded by how much green there is. I come from the desert of Idaho and so going to Bogota, which even in the city that's just filled with palm trees and all kinds of fun stuff like that, it was an amazing experience. And once you get out of the main, the big city, everywhere is either jungle or just a step away from it. It has the highest variety in birds and quite a bit in plant and other animal life. The fruits there are amazing and the history is incredible. I would recommend you look into a little bit of the history from three or four hundred years ago and I think it's something really cool to look into.
