Romania

My favorite food in Romania was called sodomale. It's boiled cabbage rolls and they serve it with sour cream. It's really really good. I also loved salata de vinete, which is eggplant like eggplant salad and zacusca, which is kind of a salsa kind of thing that you'd eggplant salsa that you put on bread.

My favorite foods are sarmale and chorba de pericoare and chorba de fasole. The last two are soups, meatball soup and a bean soup and then of course sarmale which are cabbage rolls. Their food is generally pretty sour so that takes some getting used to which are really really good when you do get used to it and they serve mineral water that's kind of like the normal drink you have to ask for flat water which is water with no bubbles. That and they've got a salata de bouffe which is kind of like a potato salad that's really good. You will love the food there, it's so yummy.
