I'm from New Mexico, so it's a very deserty, hot place. It is not humid whatsoever. So going to Romania was very different, especially in the winter. So the example I wanted to share was actually when I first got to Romania, it was the dead of winter in the middle of a blizzard, and I had never seen a blizzard before, nor that much white snow anywhere in my life. So just a word of advice, if you're going to Romania, or anywhere that is not a hot desert typically, definitely take a good jacket, a scarf, some good thick waterproof shoes, and just make sure that you're warm. It's easier to layer up and be really warm and have to take off some layers than to be cold and almost die, because I should have had hyperthermia a couple times, but I was blessed to not have that happen.
