So, Romanian is a very beautiful language. It's very similar to Italian. It's Latin based. I'll never forget one time my companion and I ran into an Italian man and he would speak to us in Italian and we would reply in Romanian and we were able to carry on a conversation with him. It wasn't perfect and we didn't understand everything but we did understand enough to carry on a simple conversation. It was pretty neat. It's a beautiful language. The best way to learn it is to only speak it. Go a whole month without speaking English and speak only Romanian. You'll be surprised how fast you learn it.
