So one of my favorite holidays now that my husband and I celebrate together, because we both lived in Romania for a while, is actually called Marzişor and it's the first of March every year where basically they celebrate the first day of spring and the importance of women. So for every woman that passes by you get this little trinket that looks like a little ribbon with like a metal pin that's hooked onto it that you put on your shirt and you wear them throughout the day in that entire week. They also hand out these little flowers that are really really pretty too that are pink purple and white and the typical colors for the little trinkets that they give you are red and white and they symbolize certain things like love and loyalty but you wear those throughout the entire week and it's a really beautiful thing because everybody loves celebrating that and even random people will give you these cute little things, it's wonderful.
