Some tips for success. As much as learning the technical aspects of audiology, probably the almost bigger part is learning how to work with different people, different personalities. It's kind of the interpersonal relationship is probably a very big part, at least of private practice audiology, where it's about building relationships and really understanding and not just being able to do the technical aspects of it, but listening to what it is. So learning, developing, learning those skills is would be vital to success, especially in a private practice setting.

Video 2 - Transcription

Make sure to have a good, gotta be able to talk to people, right? Communication is key. So for success-wise, regardless of what you go into, but especially in audiology, being able to communicate effectively to your patients, being able to effectively communicate to family members, being able to communicate effectively with staff members, all of those things are gonna go a long way in your success. So being able to interact with others definitely is going to help you. If you can connect with them, show them that you care, have compassionate skills, be able to empathize, that'll help you quite a bit.
