One of my absolute favorite foods from Paraguay was this thing called Lomitos Arres. It's like a burrito type thing, but it's got like, you can get chicken or you can get like meat in it. And it's got like cabbage and it comes with this like garlic sauce. It is so good.

I have to say one of my favorite things was boribori, which is a soup that they have in Paraguay. It's so good. It has a bunch of different vegetables in it and chicken, so boribori de gallina is so good. And it has like little pelotitas, little balls made out of like corn. It's delicious, especially when it's cold. Believe it or not, it like doesn't really get cold in Paraguay, but like when it rains a lot, usually brings the temperature down. So boribori is so nice on those days.

So my favorite food in Paraguay is marinara. What is marinara? Marinara is basically like a flank steak deep fried and it is the best thing in the world. They do it in this super good sauce and then they deep fry it just like french fries really. They deep fry it but they deep fry it in oil but they do it above charcoal so it's really good and they do it right in their front patio and it's really good. We always loved eating marinara and it has this flavor that's super good. It's got like, I don't know how to explain it but you just gotta ask around, ask for marinara and you'll love it.

Their pizza is slightly different and they do put cheese on the inside crust which is really good. They have hamburgers and theirs are slightly different too. They put fried egg on it which in my opinion I think their hamburgers are better than ours. They have this bread that's called it's a cheese bread that is super delicious. They have um which is like it's like a flour type tortilla type thing that's a little bit sweet and I really love that. They have ice creams and flans. They always have rice and beans with every meal, almost every meal.

My favorite food by far was the lomito arabe. It's like a type of shawarma. They cook it a little differently, but they have a flat bread. It comes because it's arabe, so it means Arabian. It comes from the Middle East. They also have ensalada de fruta. Imagine a normal chopped up fruit salad of a bunch of different fruits. They pour orange juice in it and make it like a soup, but not warm, cold, obviously, and you eat a spoon. That's delicious. They also have chippa, which is made of mandioca flour, and it's like a... I would quote it as like a stale bagel, but it grows on you, and it's delicious after a while. My wife had one once, and she hated it, but I love the foods.

They have something called milanesa, and it's kind of like a breaded fried meat. Really really good milanesa. They also have something called a mandioca, which is like yucca, yucca, whatever it's called. And fried mandioca is so good. So definitely ask someone to make it for you if they're willing. Mate dulce is the one type of mate dulce de leche that we can drink and it's really good. It's like hot milk with sugar and coconut in it. That's really good. Their mangoes are really good. They have a lot of fried foods. They have a lot of empanadas, a lot of a lot of meat, but I really like the mandioca frita, and then the milanesa. Those are probably two of my favorite ones.

One of the most popular things is Lomito Arabe, which is basically, it's hard to describe. It's kind of like a burrito, kind of, but like has a really good garlic sauce and and meat. It's really good. More common food is like chippa, which is a kind of cornbread with cheese in it. It's really good, sold all around. Another thing is just empanadas. That's huge in the streets in Paraguay. So lots of good street food. Oh, and one other thing I should mention are asaditos, which is like a shish kebab, but instead of meat and vegetables, it has meat, like a piece of meat, a piece of fat, a piece of meat, a piece of fat. So good.
