I have tried so many treatments for my acne. I've done honey and that kind of just helps the inflammation go down, it feels like, just to coat your face in honey. I've also done, I think there's just like this astringent kind of alcohol stuff you can put with cotton swabs. I've also tried, I think it's called benzoyl peroxide, I think, and there's a couple other like peroxides or drugs. I tried topical drugs and they worked to varying extents. I remember trying using like egg yolk to try to like close up my pores, and once it dries your face gets like really, really tight. Some of the medicine works better than others. I never tried oral medication because I was worried about it affecting my mood and personality, but the best treatment I found recently is to avoid dairy and also to avoid eating oily foods.

There are a lot of different treatments for acne out there. I've been on most of them. I've been on doxycycline, which I recommend up until a certain point. It can sometimes have some really bad side effects, which I experienced. I've also been through two rounds of Accutane. Accutane is very interesting because a lot of people respond to it very differently. My first round worked perfect, worked great. My second round it took like a little bit of time for it eventually kick in and work. It's worked differently for a lot of people, but I recommend it if you feel like you could handle it. It's a very difficult process to first get started on it and to continue with it. It can be extremely draining.

If you suffer from acne, this Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Day Miracle Toner is one of my favorites because it really helps to clear your pores by helping with cell turnover, and it really helps with my closed comedones. And another thing is, I think a lot of people don't realize how much their skin needs moisturizing, and this Tony Moly Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner really helps with that too. Yeah, good luck guys.

So when I was younger, I had a lot of breakouts, but I was able to really take control of them a lot more when I started going on CeraVe. So I first started out with Proactiv, and that worked for me for a while, but then I tried switching to CeraVe, and that worked great. I still use it. I don't use it that often. I should, but luckily I don't break out hardly at all anymore. But it's really helpful. It's just a face wash in the morning, at the night, and then a lotion as well. And yeah, it's super helpful, cleanses the pores and gets rid of any oil without drying out the skin completely.

So one treatment that might not be very well known are these little miracle patch things that you can use. But what you do is you can, if you need to pop a zit or if it kind of happens naturally, you put one of those suckers on there and it actually kind of sucks out the nasty stuff inside and it leaves it really clean after when you take it off. They're those little circular patches and from personal experience I can attest that they work.

I've dealt with acne for pretty much since like fifth grade for most of my life and for treatment wise I've done Accutane and I'm currently on it. Just like for those that are on Accutane and like maybe for encouragement wise just keep going, put lots of chapstick on. I found that CeraVe moisturizer has really helped my skin be more moisturized and everything so those are just some tips for the treatment of acne with Accutane. You're doing great, keep going.

There are a lot of different treatments for acne. If you go to a dermatologist, they can help you find a medication or like a topical cream that can help treat your acne. I have tried a couple different medications, minocycline and spironolactone. Those work for a lot of people. For like a more permanent solution, a lot of people do Accutane, which I'm actually finishing up being on Accutane right now. Accutane is kind of a pain because if you're a girl you have to take birth control while you're on it because it can cause birth defects to babies if you are pregnant while you take it. It also dries out your skin and your lips a lot, which is kind of a pain, but it shrinks down the oil glands in your skin so it's a much more like permanent solution than a lot of the treatment plans that people use. So it is good as a last resort plan.

I have found that Biore face wash has been very very good. The black charcoal kind is very good for my specific skin type. I'm also in Utah where things are a little bit more dry but I have oily skin so when I get rid of that my skin does tend to dry out after using that facial cleanser and I use CeraVe moisturizer immediately following as well as adapalene on the really deep the really deep skin impurities.

Something that I used for acne on my chest and my back was a prescription that my doctor recommended called Spiralactone, I think, something along those lines. And it's technically for blood pressure, but one of the side effects is it helps clear up your skin. And it's, my doctor was like, is more like health conscious and like whole body conscious. And so I really trusted her in knowing that this wasn't going to cause other damage other places and, um, and affect me in other ways. And it actually has helped me so much in those areas. I used to be so insecure and was unable to wear my tennis uniform comfortably or swimming suits or things like that. And so, um, now I can, and I felt confident in that form of treatment for sure. Um, another way that I've had treatment is helping balance my hormones. Um, so I take different pills.

One way to go attack your acne is using products that have AHAs and BHAs in them. If you look at any of the labels on facial products they usually tell you what percentage of those are in the product and some of them don't have them so you do have to look for it. But those are chemical exfoliants that you can use to attack blackheads that are just on the surface of your skin and also underneath the skin barrier where you have deeper acne. Those are incredibly helpful for treating that.

When it comes to acne, one of the most important things that you can do for yourself is have a set skincare routine. Basics are cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. Those are three absolute basic needs when it comes to a steady skincare routine. And sticking to that, doing it twice a day at least, is going to be incredibly helpful for you. I used to have really, really bad acne, but since I've had a steady skincare routine and I've looked into different types of exfoliants and different acids that are really helpful for your face, I have experienced clear skin for many, many months. The only problem that I have is now hormonal acne, which I'm still trying to figure out.

Acne can be really hard to treat if your skin is dry, so moisturizer is incredibly important, but one thing that you can do to boost the moisturizing of your skin is using hyaluronic acid. You can get hyaluronic acid by itself from places like The Ordinary and stuff like that, where it's pretty cheap, but having products like if your moisturizer includes hyaluronic acid, that's really, really important. Hyaluronic acid is pretty much a miracle treatment that you have when it comes to dry skin. It's incredibly helpful. Applying it at night before you use your moisturizer is really, really good, and it does help your skin barrier get stronger so that you can fight acne with other chemical treatments.

If you're looking to attack the hyperpigmentation that you have somewhere on your skin, glycolic acid is really, really helpful for hyperpigmentation specifically. And if you use that consistently, but not every day, if you use that maybe every other day, or twice or three times a week, it can really bring down the hyperpigmentation and help you a lot in that area.

One thing that people don't really take seriously when it comes to skin care routines is sunscreen. Sunscreen is absolutely necessary every single day regardless of how little you're in the sun because sun damage will prevent your skin from healing your acne scars or acne in general and so it's really really important to use sunscreen.
