- Seems average. Not a crazy amount. More car accidents it seems. (Jackie, 22 years)
- Lower income areas have a higher incidence of crime, just like every other city. (Karen, 42 years)
- You don’t dare to leave your door unlocked, even for a minute. Don’t answer the door unless it’s someone you know, it’s scary. My son was assaulted when he was 14 by a drunk eighteen year old in a neighborhood- they found him, released him, he continually skipped court dates, etc. and as far as I know, never fulfilled his punishment. They start it young, get away with it, and get worse as they get older. I had to jump through hoops just to find out info on anything that happened after the assault. (Lori, 50 years)

- It’s not a bad place to live. Housing prices are lower then most of the Valley. The city is constantly improving our neighborhoods. (Jeanie, 8 years)

- I bought my house sight unseen from Houston. I drove into West Valley and my first thought on seeing how run down the area is, was…where did I move to? :(. (Lisa, 8 weeks)

- Great place to raise our family…we sold our first WVC home to move into a rambler. We looked from Provo to Morgan. We ended up moving only two miles from that first home and still love living in West Valley. (Karen, 42 years)
- Get your loss involved in youth hockey at Acord. Chris is wonderful with kids, they develop great friendships and respect, it keeps kids out of trouble. (Lori, 50 years)
