I wanted to share a little bit about my major, which was photojournalism at SIU Carbondale, and I had a great experience with their photojournalism department. Absolutely amazing professors. An excellent program with hands-on learning. I just wanted to share a little bit about that because if you're looking into going into photography, it's an absolutely amazing school. There are plenty of opportunities for hands-on experiences and development. They also are really, really great about making personal connections, which was really important for me. I wanted my professors to get to know me and know that they cared about me, and I definitely felt that at SIUC in the photojournalism department. So I just wanted to share a little bit about my degree and how it's helped me. I am a full-time photographer now, and I run my own wedding photography business, so it's helped me tremendously.
