So I would recommend visiting like the bigger islands which are Mykonos and Santorini. Santorini is beautiful it has the number three like most beautiful spot like sunset spot in the whole entire world that's like on like this side like the mountain it's so beautiful so I recommend doing that and then I also recommend going to Athens and checking out the Acropolis and like all the like ruins because it's just so beautiful there and it's really cool to like understand like all the history and like all the buildings and they're like so aesthetically pleasing.

My favorite stop in my trip to Greece was this town called Meteora. It's this small town in the valley, not much to the town itself, but surrounding this town are these majestic, really tall, beautiful cliffs, and on the top of those cliffs are these beautiful monasteries that are centuries old. Some of them are inhabited, some of them not so much, but you can visit those monasteries, walk through those, learn that history, and have these breathtaking views of the basin.

When you go to Greece, I highly recommend the island of Knoxos. Everything is within walking distance. The hospital, the food places, the beach, it's all within a walking distance. It's a really small island. Everyone is really friendly. It's a really family-oriented island too. It's a little bit touristy, but the experience there compared to like Santorini is out of this world. It's really more secluded than Santorini, but it is a probably five to seven hour ferry ride to Santorini if you did want to visit. That is also one of the most beautiful places in Greece just because of the sunset, but those are two recommended places. Knoxos, highly recommended. In Santorini, stay in Knoxos and then go to Santorini.

So I went to Greece for a three-month-long study abroad program and we had a about three or four day break in between then and we were allowed to choose whatever island we wanted to go to to spend the weekend with with our friends or like go have fun. Me and my friends chose Naxos and this is one of my most highly recommended places because it's such a family-oriented island and you can really get to anywhere you want to go with the bus or just walking because everything is in walking distance and one of my favorite places to go was the Euro place there. I don't remember exactly what it's called but they have the best Euros on the island. I have never tasted anything better in my life so Naxos is a highly recommended island for me.

Near the base of the Parthenon in Athens is Socrates' prison. I didn't realize it was there until someone pointed it out. It's kind of along the path at the base of the hill, but it's a very cool spot. I love history, philosophy, that sort of thing, and so seeing the place where Socrates was imprisoned was a cool experience. You don't go inside. They've got like gates over the entrance to the cave, so it's more of you you're standing outside taking pictures looking at the entrance to the caves that were his prison.
