So one of my biggest language tips would be not to be afraid to use the language. A lot of Greek people really appreciate it when Americans come in and try to learn their culture and try to use the language in their everyday interactions. They are really kind about it, they will correct you and they will help you figure out what you're saying or what you're trying to say. Yeah, they're really nice about it, they really love when you use their language. Just use it in your everyday interactions, don't be afraid if you make a mistake, they'll help you.

Greek is really hard. It's one of the hardest languages in the world, and I think that's because of the grammar. So, I would just really try to master the grammar. The people love it when you try to speak their language. They love their language, so it brings them a lot of pride that you're trying to learn it for them. I think that's what helped me learn the most was listening to people speak and mimicking the sounds that they made.
