So I went to Greece for a study abroad program and we were able to take Greek language classes so that we could communicate with the locals and one day I went to go interview what I thought was a local but she was an outsider. It was her and her daughter and I went to interview them and ask them about the issues in the community and how we could help solve them and of course I'm saying all of this in Greek because that was the point of the interview is to be able to communicate with others and she thought I was a Roma which is a minority group in Greece and she automatically told her daughter to pick up her stuff before I steal it and run because I might steal her stuff. I clarified with her that I was an American of course and yeah that was one of my crazy stories.
