At my orientation, my sister was going to the university as well. She was a junior, I was a freshman, and I just texted her at my orientation and I was like, Emily, this place like offers us so much. She was like, it's really true, like they give us so much. Just some examples, I know there are feminine hygiene products available, there are free counseling services. I don't know if this is through the school, but one of my professors, his wife, runs the Hope Food Pantry, and so you can just pick up some free food when you're in need of that. There's a ton of stuff that you can get access to at SU.

There are quite a few free resources. There's something called a Starving Student Card. You get it for $25, but it's got like lists, a whole long list of things that you can get for discounts or even for free from local businesses and local things here from Cedar City and St. George. So it's a great thing to get, jump on the bandwagon. There's also free counseling at the school. It's called CAPS. I think it's pretty awesome. I've never utilized it myself, but I've thought about it a lot. Anyway, it's a free counseling service for anybody who needs it at the school because let's face it, college is hard. It's hard to get through everything. And there's various teachers of various degrees that are a part of CAPS and you can go in and talk to them. It's really cool. There's also CAST members. They're kind of, they're not like CAPS, but kind of. They help students.

Every Monday, there will be a bread cart from the local grocery stores of all the bread that's about to expire. Bread, or treats, or anything that's, like, gonna expire soon. Anyway, it's free, and it's near this, it's in the Student Center every Monday. And it, it goes pretty fast, but we, we always appreciate it. We always get donuts, or, um, our bread weekly, or, um, just treats like croissants, mmm, just a lot of things.
