- You’ll love it out here, its an awesome area. No traffic compared to leaving in St. George. (Ben, 2 years)

- Don’t do it. Especially if you’re not Mormon. You will be judged like no other. (Ivy, 18 years)
- This is a small town where there are a lot of generations of Gublers (settled the town). The town is very friendly but do not move here expecting to try to change the town to be like where you came from. There is a reason that La Verkin still has a small town feel and we like it that way. (Teresa, 26 years)

- Hiking in Confluence Park many times. (Morgan, 8 years)
- Back when the cops were cool about hanging out at the parks past dark. Spent several years just enjoying life at the park. (Ivy, 18 years)
- I’m disabled. Had a license plate I couldn’t put on my van. I was pulled over for it. A La Verkin police officer put my plate on for me. I’ll never forget his thoughtfulness or kindness. (Jill, 30 years)

How do you think La Verkin will change over the next 10 years?

- I believe there will be more people moving to La Verkin and the community will grow. (Ben, 2 years)
- I hope La Verkin will grow in business and allow vacation rentals to bring in the money from the tourists. I also hope that they will beautify state street and tear down the dilapidated buildings that make it look bad. (Caitlin, 2 years)
