Trucking Owner Operator

My advice after 17 years in the trucking industry is to not go to trucking school to get your CDL, okay? Unless you feel like you absolutely need to and that you want to get a lot of experience before driving, but there is a fast way to get your CDL and that is just go to your local driver license division, get the free manual that they give over there, study it, come back, schedule your testing, do your test, and then schedule your practice test, okay? So obviously, your practice test, you need to be able to back up, park, you know, safety stuff that is written in the manual that you can practice anywhere. You can even go to CDL schools and ask for help to only pass the practice test. You don't have to do all of that schooling and pay thousands and thousands of dollars for something that, you know, you can do on your own. That's my advice.
