Quality Engineer

I started out actually at Ricks College in Mechanical Engineering and Technology. I was studying to be, you know, a computer-aided draftsman, I think is what I was looking at, and I happened to take a manufacturing course. And in that process, I discovered that I really enjoyed the science of making things versus the science of designing things. And then I switched to manufacturing engineering technology, and in that curriculum, there was statistics, advanced statistics, which I just fell in love with, and several quality courses. And so when I graduated, my first job was in manufacturing engineering tech, but then I got the opportunity to get into quality and freightliner, and the rest is history.
