Well, my name is Sean. I retired after 20 years as a United States Army officer. Couple of things to consider if you're looking at military officer's career. There's a number of different commissioning points. First is what's called the service academies. And these are based on the branch of service you're looking at, whether it be Air Force, Army, or Navy, or even Coast Guard, each of which has their own service academy which you apply for. It's an extensive application process and is extraordinarily competitive. Another option is if you're already enrolled in a university. Many of these universities across the country have a reserve officer training core program, whether that be Army, Navy, or Air Force. And the application process, just enroll. So you enroll in the course. You attend courses while you're studying in university and learn how to become a military officer. And upon graduation, you would then be qualified for commissioning.
