One resource that's been really so helpful for me has been upwork.com. It's a place where you can find people who can help you to do the things that you need to do, whether that's a graphic designer or somebody who can, you know, do some data mining for you on the internet or who can do some internet research for you or who can, you know, help you with a project in any way. There's so many different really amazing people for actually pretty cheap and sometimes expensive, but just really good talent on Upwork. And if you don't know how to delegate out the tasks that you have to do, you're going to get overwhelmed as a director of marketing. So highly recommend Upwork.

All right, so if you're looking to go into the field of marketing, I'd suggest a few things. Number one, do your research. Okay, your sources could include stuff on YouTube and the internet and all of the interwebs. Find out as much as you can to understand all the different facets of marketing and where you might be most interested to pursue a career. Secondly, go do mini interviews or calls or whether that's live or virtual with people that are in the field. You know, ask for just 15 minutes of their time, ask them questions so that you can understand more about what they're doing and if they enjoy it and you could see if it's a fit for you. The third thing really is become an intern, an unpaid intern even, so that you can shadow somebody and understand what they do day in and day out and if that's something that you would really enjoy doing.
