Israel is known for really yummy, healthy food. So don't be surprised when you wake up at your hostel or hotel and your breakfast is salad, you know, and feta cheese and eggs, like boiled eggs. So that's kind of what you'll expect there. They have falafel everywhere, that's their version of hamburger, which is like fried chickpeas in balls and their falafel, they're in pitas in Jerusalem. Their pitas might have like a few french fries stuffed in there and then their chickpeas and then tahini, which is their version of like peanut butter, I guess, kind of, they use it on everything. And so I would say their falafel is my favorite food in Israel. It's really, really good and everything else is good. It's just healthy. They have really healthy food, so be prepared for that. Hopefully you're not too picky of an eater.

I was there for a very brief time, but I remember there are a couple of convenience stores and tucked away places that had Lael bars, which are these like chocolate wafer treat bars. They're very good, very rich, but I really love those the whole duration of my trip.

There is a couple of nice food, you can eat falafel or shawarma, even like street food, like they have a good schnitzel, so it's actually from Germany, Austria, sorry, but they make it in a different way, and it's really tasty, and yeah, so they have this also, and they have a couple of restaurants from all over the world, kind of, you can find whatever you like.

So they have really great shawarma in Israel, which I loved. You can find it really anywhere for pretty cheap. Shawarma was super good. Any kind of like gyro thing that you're gonna have is amazing. Something that I loved and miss to this day is they have the best Georgian pizza. Oh my gosh, it was, it was like, I would definitely cry if I had it again. It's like this bread type thing that they put like egg and cheese in it, which doesn't sound that good, but it was so good. And I've had it at several other places. And Israel, for some reason, especially in Jerusalem, in West Jerusalem, they have the best Georgian pizza. So definitely try that. Not culturally, I guess, to Israel, but something I would definitely recommend trying after you have your shawarma.
