Graphic Designer

I was really into design in high school and I was really into this certain designer who was local in my area. I went to one of his shows. I introduced myself to him at the show, gave him my contact information. I told him that I would love to, you know, design or like work for him in some way. And it was really amazing because he actually reached out to me after that and I was able to, you know, sit down with him and have a formal interview, show him my work. And I was able to land a job as a graphic designer in his studio. And so I think making community connections was definitely the big thing that got me to get my job as a graphic designer and I think that that's a great way.
