Film Director

I don't want to be negative, but I think everything about directing a feature film is hard. Every phase from finding investors to give you the funds that you need, to writing the script, you know, coming up with the story that is coherent, that is long enough, that keeps interest, to casting, to getting a crew together, to shooting on usually very limited budgets and limited schedules, and then post-production, and then seeking distribution, convincing a distributor to put your film in a theater where there are 100 million dollar movies playing in the next screen. It's extremely difficult and oftentimes very gut-wrenching. However, when it works, it works, and it's worth every trial and frustration.
