Concert Pianist

I would say the hardest thing about being a concert pianist is dealing with rejection and also perfectionism. As a professional musician, basically you're relying on people's opinions of your art and it can get really really difficult sometimes if you feel like you are not playing well enough or performing well enough. Another thing is auditioning to schools, to competitions, to festivals, and getting rejected and having to deal with that rejection and just learn how to take the ups with the downs.
