Well, hey there. So it turns out you're interested in becoming a Chief Experience Officer. In order to start off, you are definitely going to need some experience at customer service in a variety of different roles, anywhere from operational roles to back-end roles, in order to be able to understand the customer experience. It requires a lot of strategic thinking in how the customer experience can be augmented, can be improved, while not detracting from operational efficiencies, financial strategies, things like that. So I think starting off in customer service and then moving on from there is where you go.

So the story of how I became the Chief Experience Officer is actually a pretty fun one. I had the title of Chief Business Development Officer for about three years where I was in charge of all special projects, but I never really liked my title. I didn't feel like it really represented who I was. So as I looked around for C-suite titles that existed, I was trying to find one that fit who I am as a person and what do I want to do. And I was able to find the title CXO and just from the sound of it, it sounded exciting. And so I did a little more digging into the responsibilities of being the person on the executive team that represents the patient's voice or the customer's voice as far as their experience that they're going to have with any decision that's made. And I appreciated that. I think that that's been one of the aspects that I've been able to bring into our company for a while. So it's been a really great experience.
