Watch VideosI think stressful experiences of being an academic coach is just the learning curve. Moving from physical classroom to figuring out how to teach online, how to communicate online, how to interact online is a bit different and trying to figure out ways to best support families can be a little bit stressful too.
My tips for success is overall working from home. If you are easily distracted, a work from home job is probably not for you. If you are not organized, again, it's probably not for you. If you need to have somebody there to make sure you're doing your job, then yes, I would not recommend a work from home job. However, if you do get into a remote position, making sure you have a dedicated workspace, making sure that you have two monitors is great. Making sure that your environment is quiet and not distracting is also very helpful.
