- It’s definitely important to lock cars and close garages in areas where there’s a lot of construction. People have had their cars broken into. (Katie, 10 months)

Elk Ridge Advice
Any advice for people moving to Elk Ridge?
- Get in the habit of going grocery shopping less often, since we are father away from grocery stores. I go twice a month now and I feel like I spend less than when I went more often! I actually like the change! (Katie, 10 months)
- Check to see where they are doing new building to see if your views are being taken away. They let developers raise the dirt so the new homes are over 20 feet higher and they will take away the view. That is the reason we bought our home was for the view. Call the city on matters. They are very slow to get things fixed (like the hole on Sky Hawk). Elk Ridge lets builders do what they want and don’t care about the citizens. Builders will start work around 7am. Most cities make them wait until 8am so it won’t wake up residence but Elk Ridge doesn’t care, they just want more money. (Connie, 1 year)
- There isn’t shopping nearby- you need to drive to at least Spanish Fork if not Provo to shop. (Lauren, 1 year)

- We had an amazing first summer! The ages of the kids on our street are perfect for ours and they made so many friends! It’s such a safe quiet place for kids to play and just be kids. (Katie, 10 months)
- Watching fireworks from one end of Utah county to the other- from a distance! (Lauren, 1 year)
- As a teen we loved walking around the neighborhood and to the park at all hours. We also felt safe. Now as an adult all the neighbors are very friendly. (Emily, 5 years)

How do you think Elk Ridge will change over the next 10 years?
- More people, maybe a stop light, and probably more churches. (Amanda, 10 months)
- I’m sure it will continue to grow, and I hope we get our freeway exit closer to us than Benjamin and Payson Main! I know it’s in the works, but we are still crossing our fingers. (Katie, 10 months)
