I'm not very good with directions, so one interesting public transportation experience was we were in Sweden and we went outside of Stockholm for an activity and took a train and then as soon as we were finished with our activity, we went back to the train and there was a train there and I was insistent that that was going in the correct destination. We got on the train and discovered quite a ways down the tracks that we were on the wrong train and going the wrong direction, so we had to wait for the next stop and then get off and then go to the other side and go back to where we were and find the right train. I still think we were going on the right train, but I was wrong.
