I usually use a site like hotels.com, but there's also a hotels tonight site where you can Get last-minute deals if you use a credit card like the Marriott Bonvoy Credit card you can get free nights the same with the hotels.com or Expedia But I usually Research and spend a lot of time in advance Trying to find the best and cheapest hotel and it's also not being afraid to stay in a hostel because there's a lot of nice hostels even as an adult that you can stay in and Meet really great people and even have a private or a semi private room if you go with your family stayed in a hostel once in Mexico with my Three kids and it was a great experience
