Watch VideosSo I have TMJ and there's quite a few ways that they fix it. I've heard one, I've heard definitely don't go to a chiropractor. A lot of orthodontists would advise against it. Some orthodontists will suggest surgery. For me, I didn't do surgery just because I was kind of scared of it. But another way, well, so a little known fact that sometimes the cause of TMJ and that popping or like the locked jaw is just from grinding your teeth in your sleep. So a orthodontist recommended me getting a mouth guard and then sleeping with a mouth guard. So for those of you who have TMJ and you're afraid of the surgery option or you're not really sure what to do, I'd say just try that out on your own. For me, it helped quite a bit with relief. So I don't know. Good luck. Hopefully, it all works out.
