But yeah, that's one thing if you come to Switzerland as a tourist you'll notice is just, especially with the rise of low-cost budget airlines in Europe, your train ticket going to the airport actually might be more expensive than your actual flight.

However, it can be pretty expensive to live there. I was there as a missionary for my church, so I never had the opportunity to like work in gaining money. However, the people that I talked to and everyone I met said that it evens out in the salaries in Switzerland are a little bit higher than they would be in other countries where the cost of living is like more tolerable because you're making a little bit more. However, if you're just going there on vacation or to visit, know that you will be spending a little bit more just on everyday things. It's just a little bit more expensive.
