I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Since I was a child, I thought that all of this was true. But when I was 18, I knew that I had to have my own testimony and not the testimony of my parents and teachers in the church. So I read the book of Mormon. I learned a little about Jesus Christ. I prayed and asked God if all of this was true, if I should believe it. When I prayed, I felt deep in my heart that it was simply true, that it was good for me, that it was truly good for all people, and I believed it.
