Watch VideosHi, I've had several skin cancers removed in my life. My first diagnosis happened when I was 36 and it was one that was back in my hairline, which I never would have even seen. But I've had several others taken from my face, from my back, my shoulders. Not super fun things to go through, but they are doable. And if you stay on top of them and work with a good dermatologist and go in annually for your checkups, he can catch those and remove those quickly. I have only dealt with basal cell and with squamous cell, so I haven't had the big inward one to share with you.
My mom has had skin cancer, my grandma, my grandpa, a lot of people in our family, and a lot of that is because my family's from the beach, and it's just motivated me to really, you know, wear sunscreen anytime I'm in the sun for prolonged hours, and you can still get tan putting on sunscreen depending on what SPF you use, but I'm definitely going to be a lot more careful now because I've seen, you know, it's been really tough because they have to have these painful surgeries and other things.
