So I was hospitalized seven times between the ages of 13 and 16. I didn't tell my therapist and my doctors the truth. I told them what I thought they wanted to hear. So schizoaffective disorder was undiagnosed until I was in my 20s when I finally went and had a psych evaluation done and told the truth.
