There are tons of things to do in Peru. In Lima specifically, you can go to like the government buildings, you can go to Miraflores, which is this cool part of the city that's like on the coast. There are lots of people paragliding there like on the coast, and there's this really cool lighthouse that's old. It's a really historic site there. I think like mostly it's like about food, at least in Lima, just the food's really good. So trying lomo saltado and brasa chaufa, aida gallina. And then in Cusco, obviously there's Montepiccio and there's LDS temples in several cities that are all really beautiful.

Okay, I have a ton of ideas. Okay, I was in Buda for a lot of my time so I like going to the markets even though they may look sketchy, I like going to the markets, I like eating there. I like going to Catacaus, one of the most beautiful artisanal places where you can just get handbags that are like handmade, you can have paintings, you can have bracelets, keychains. Catacaus, not a mess, you have to go there. If you go out of Buda, I think Paita is pretty beautiful. I like the scenery and also Talara. If you go to Talara, go to Lobitos, you can also go to the lighthouse. There's like cool little beaches that you can like or a place that you can just walk and see the coast. Whereas, I was in Suyana, you can go to like fields of crops and things like that. I thought that was really interesting. I've never done that.

One of the big reasons I wanted to go to Peru was to go to Machu Picchu, to go to one of the seven wonders of the world. And if you go to Peru and you do not go to Machu Picchu, you are missing out. It is the coolest thing in the world. When you go on the tour, when you're walking around, you cannot imagine how these people thousands and thousands of years ago built this civilization, took these huge stones and brought them to the top of a mountain. I was just getting winded walking around and I could not imagine how long and how hard it must have been for these people to build that civilization on the top of the mountain. Another cool thing to do in Peru is surfing. We went surfing just on the coast of Lima. It was freezing cold, but we had wetsuits and the waves were honestly pretty great. I am not a great surfer, but it was definitely a fun time.
