Hey, if you're in the middle of a panic attack right now, and your heart is palpitating, and you're sweating, and your stomach's going crazy, and your body's shaking, I want you to remember one thing. You're not going to die from it. It feels like it. We think we're going to die from it, but we're not. There's lots of support out there. There's lots of people who care, and you're not the only one going through it. I know for many, many years, I thought that I was the only person in the world that had this disorder, and as much as I'm saddened by how many people do suffer from it, I'm also grateful to know that I'm not the only one, and you're not the only one either, and that together, we can get through this.

Having panic attacks for six years, I thought I would never get over it. There were periods that I was scared to get out of the house and before that I was a very dynamic person and for six years I was suffering and I was scared to get in the bus or go five minutes from my house or two minutes from my house just to buy a newspaper and with therapy and medication but mainly with therapy I managed to get over it but my advice is to get a very good therapist.
