Pancreatitis

So the treatment for pancreatitis is essentially not eating, and not eating for several days because that prevents the body then from creating the enzyme that causes the pain. Now they will give you pain medication and in my case they gave me something called TPN, which is a nutrition that's fed to you intravenously that helps you, you know, maintain a little something, a little balance in your body while you're going through this, but look out for that you will not be solid food for a number of days.
