Hey guys, so I am a pre-optometry student and I actually just got accepted into the University of Houston College of Optometry. So some advice for getting started if you're on the pre-optometry track would be for sure get some clinical experience, either reach out to offices seeing if you can shadow them, if you can work as a technician at their office as well that's really good, and also be sure to stay on top of your grades. High GPAs and OAT standardized testing scores are really important for your application as well.
