One of the hardest parts of ODD is getting motivated to do anything. It is so hard to be able to do something you've been asked to do, even if you wanted to do it. The amount of times I have wanted to go out, wanted to go see someone, but because someone said, go on, go and get ready, I can't. It makes me lose all motivation to get ready. It's stressful. It is very stressful and confusing when you don't realise that it's part of ODD. It took a lot of research for us to realise, oh, the lack of motivation I get is because of ODD, it's not because I'm a moody teenager, as everyone was saying. Which was the most annoying dismissal.
