I am very pro Netflix. I do like Netflix. My favorite show currently is Suits. So if we're giving recommendations for why I give Netflix a positive review, it often has to do with just being able to watch that show.

I really like Netflix. I feel like they've always had really good content and I like their originals. They have the best TV series, I think, like Stranger Things, Wednesday, their Outer Banks. There are so many that have been so good and that are original to Netflix and lots of really good movies too that they released on there, like To All The Boys I loved before. I think there are three movies in that series. I think they just get really good screenplay writers and authors and directors to work with them and they've just got a lot of great content.
I like Netflix. I think it's a service that I miss from time to time, but my family found that a lot of the shows that we wanted to watch were not actually on Netflix. Like a lot of them were on Disney Plus and never made it to Netflix. And so eventually we switched to Disney Plus, but I think Netflix has a lot of great originals. There are some flops as well, but one of my favorite Netflix originals is, I think it's called Meet the Robinsons. It's like about a family that goes to space and it's kind of a remake of an older TV series. I loved it. It was so good. I found it very captivating.
Netflix can be great. It has a lot of movies all in one place and once you've paid the subscription fee, it's all there for free. You don't have extra stuff that you're paying for. However, some of their movies, especially like the Netflix originals, can be pretty cheesy. Some of them are good and also they have really made it hard to use accounts with your family, like when people go to college and things. So they're doing a lot more encouraging of getting your own accounts, but it can be worth it.
Okay, so I like Netflix for a few things. I like it for some of the TV shows like Suits, Great British Baking Show, and some of the cute rom-coms like The First to All the Boys I've Loved Before, a few of those things. They're pretty cute and I think that they're kind of fun. However, I don't know if I would recommend Netflix for a family-friendly vibe. Not everything that they have is super family-friendly, nor is it, I guess, like, uplifting. So some things on there of course are fine, but you just have to kind of vet what you're watching. I watched one that was just ridiculous, watching teenagers smoke and do drugs and like play mean tricks on people, and it just, I didn't feel good watching it. And so I definitely, I definitely wouldn't recommend things like that. So just kind of vet what you're you're watching before you get into it, so that way you know what you're getting into, if that makes sense.
My honest opinion about Netflix, I feel like it's gone downhill in the past few years. I feel like it was like the thing a few years ago before I was on my mission for my church for a year and a half and I didn't have Netflix. And then once I came back, it was kind of like, I don't know, there are just so many other platforms, I guess, or other companies that now have basically the same exact thing. So it's still great. I still have Netflix, but I feel like it used to be better or different, at least.
