A couple of things that I wish I knew before I started this course and it didn't dissuade me too much, but know that unless you're going to a top-notch Ivy League law school, it really doesn't matter where you went to law school after your first year or two. Once you get a job, it doesn't matter where you went to law school, so don't stress about it. Get into law school, get your degree, and you're fine. Another thing I wish I knew is that there is a career path at a law firm that requires lots of hours and just busting your head day after day, long hours, lots of meetings, lots of writing to get to a certain level of the firm. But that kind of follows the I am living to work, not working to live. I think I wish I knew earlier in my life that I don't need as much money, I need more time, and that's something that I wish I knew when I was younger.
