For attorneys in general, starting salaries can really range pretty significantly from, say, $30,000 to $40,000 for a small law firm to $120,000 to $140,000 for corporate attorneys and intellectual property. If you've gone to an Ivy League university, that can propel you in the higher range. Otherwise, it's going to be your focus area. So intellectual property pays, one of the highest. Business law pays quite high. Educational law will pay quite low. And so there's a range along there. And then some attorneys will make millions of dollars a year. Some will cap out at $70,000. But there's a large range depending on your expertise level.
