I highly recommend Petra. It's obviously the first place you think of with Jordan, but it is amazing. It's way bigger than I thought it would be, and the moment you enter Petra, you just realize the magnitude, especially how much of an archaeological gold mine that city is. It's not fully excavated, and it's centuries old. It's been occupied by so many different groups, and you can see their influence on all of the architecture there. There's so much to explore. You can spend multiple days hiking up to monasteries. You can see the treasury right at the front door, or right at the entrance of Petra, and ride camels. It's a very cool, very cool city to explore.
