The weather in Indonesia is really hot all the time and really humid so you're always sweating. You just get used to being sweaty all the time. But also it rains and I remember the first time that it started sprinkling. It was one of the first couple days I was in Indonesia and my trainer, she pulled over and she said, okay you might want to put this rain poncho on and these rain pants okay so I just did what she did and wow when it rains it pours in Indonesia. It just everything floods and you you kind of get to swim and so there's some crazy rainstorms in Indonesia.

The weather in Indonesia was nothing that I'd ever experienced before in my life. But it's so hot and humid there. I think you just kind of have to get used to sweating all day every day. The other thing is just how much it rains. I remember there were times where it'd be raining so hard and you couldn't see across the street just because there was so much water coming down. And when it rains super hard, it's not uncommon for most of the cities to flood. And so it's pretty common to ride your bikes in like two or three feet of water. And yeah, it's just, it's nothing like, it's hard to explain how crazy the weather is.

Indonesia really only has two seasons. There's the hot season and the hot wet season. So year-round it's really really really hot and humid really and if it's not hot then it's raining and it's raining really hard. You know if you're out on the streets or on your bike or whatever you have a rain poncho put it on when it rains and then when it's done raining you take your rain poncho off you're still really wet because you were sweating under your rain poncho the whole time. So there's really no avoiding getting wet even when you have a rain poncho you're gonna sweat so much because when it rains it's not cold rain it's still really hot around you and it's yeah you're just sweating a lot.

Yeah, the weather is always hot and humid. The rainy season, it rains a lot. I'm surprised. But also, there's tons and tons of lightning. Lightning and thunder all the time during the rainy season too.
