I think one of my favorite foods in Hungary was a dish called rakocs krumpli. What you have is, you have several layers of different foods. You have slices of potatoes on the bottom, then you have different layers of sauces like sour cream, or in Hungarian it's called tejfilm. You also have a layer of sausage or in Hungarian kolbász. It's a great meat, one of my favorite slices of meat there. You have cheese, you also have different sauces on top of that, paprika, spices all over it. This dish is just super rich in its flavor, just because of the paprika, because of the sausage and all the spices that are in the sausage. It's just a super incredible dish, highly recommend it.

Alright, fruit soup, or also known as gyümölcsöves, that is by far the greatest thing that Hungarians have to offer. I would highly recommend taking advantage of anywhere that you go, any restaurant or any house that you go to, requesting fruit soup. Because it is cheap for them, but it is the best tasting thing and I love it. The Hungarian kitchen is amazing.

Any food that has paprika in it is amazing. Hungarians know how to season their meat really well. There's this one kind of food called paprikás csírka. It's basically chicken cooked in a mixture of onions and some vegetables and paprika and some sour cream and it is amazing. You will be fed that multiple times, I promise, and you will love it every time. Be sure to learn that recipe and to bring it home.

Foods in Hungary are actually phenomenal and delicious. Like I just remember like getting going into the forest and cooking this beef stew in a huge pot that's been simmering all day and you eat that with with bread and so it's delicious.
