Honduras San Pedro Sula East Mission

Hey, I'm Caleb. I served in the Honduras San Pedro Sula East mission, formerly known as one of the most dangerous missions in the world, fun fact. It was a great experience, just seeing how the Lord kind of protected us. I mean, one time it was really cool is that me and my companion were walking around and this gang member comes up to us and he's like, hey, if you need some backup, just let us know. We heard about your friends and we're like, what friends? And he ended up showing us a YouTube video of two missionaries in our mission getting stoned. Not really, but that's what they said. They're all dramatic about it. Basically, a guy stole their phone and they chased him down and then he turned around and actually started throwing rocks at them. And everybody caught it on video was over National News. And so for the next couple of weeks, the National News was covering Los Mormones and how we were kind of martyrs for the cause of Jesus Christ. It was cool.
