So if you're ever walking home late at night and there's some sketchy people around you and you don't want them to pay too much attention to you, what I would do is I would fake being sick. And so I would get really good at fake sneezing and I would get it all in my hands and I would sniffle and I fake it until I make it. And it worked, I think. I mean, never had any problems when I would fake being sick. And so if you're ever walking home in a sketchy part of town, I would highly recommend getting good at fake sneezing.

Germany is generally a pretty safe country. There are a few exceptions though, and it has to do a lot with the refugees there. Refugees have just a lot different of culture. There are millions of native Middle Easterners who live in the country, and so a lot of cases you'll find that you're basically in the Middle East in certain areas. I think it's good to be aware that in Germany, you don't talk to Muslim women if they're wearing like the hijab, and for women to be careful to not give off the wrong message with Muslim men. Flirting is accepted way differently there. Nice is flirting.

Some safety advice I'd give for anyone going to Germany, especially if you're planning on visiting some of the bigger cities, such as Berlin or Munich, is that if someone walks up to you with like a clipboard and some papers that you need to sign, even if they say it's like for charity or something, just don't do it because that's actually a technique that pickpocketers use. And a couple of kids in my group got a couple hundred dollars robbed from them through that. So just make sure you, you know, be careful. Don't just do that, you know.

Germany is a relatively safe place, so you don't really need to worry about safety too much, but just a general tip, make sure that you know your bus and train schedule so you don't get left at the bus or train stations for too long, because drunk people like to hang out there and they will harass you, and that's never fun, and also you don't want to be left at, you know, at a station when it's dark and there's no way home, that's never fun either, so just make sure you know when your trains are coming, when your buses are coming, and make sure you get there on time so that you don't get stranded.
